The County of Brant will be installing street lighting along Powerline Road near Mile Hill Road, Brewis Street, Hitchman Street and Whiting Drive in Paris. The 17 LED Streetlights will improve roadway and pathway lighting, safety and visibility.
The County is inviting residents of all ages to participate in The Grand Snowplow Naming Contest by submitting their best, funniest and most creative names for five County snowplows, with one plow representing each of the County’s five wards.
The County of Brant is exploring a new way to connect with nature in Oakland through the development of a nature trail and wildlife observation deck at Smith Mill Pond.
The County of Brant is planning infrastructure improvements along Broadway Street West and West River Street in Paris.
September marks Hunger Action Month, a national campaign dedicated to raising awareness about hunger and inspiring action across the country. Through collective effort, we can support and advocate for meaningful solutions that address food insecurity and poverty in our community.

Municipal Parking Lots in the downtown core. The County will retrace yellow centre lines and arrows on the downtown municipal parking lots.
