Road and Street Naming

The developer of a new subdivision is required to select street names from a pre-approved list. This happens during the planning process after draft plan approval and before the servicing agreement is signed.

Pre-approved street names

The pre-approved street name list uses local veterans' names. Developers can contact the County for a current list.

Existing street names

Developers can contact the County for a current list of existing road names to ensure the name has not already been used.
